Padinus (KWPN) Heartbreaker (KWPN) Nimmerdor (KWPN)
Ladina (KWPN) Grannus (Hann.)
Cassandra Z (Zang.) Caretano Z (Holst.) Caretino (Holst.)
Venu´s Petite Z (Zang.) Venu du Theil (SF)

The stallion Padinus represents the “creme de la creme” of Dutch Warmblood Breeding with his pedigree of Heartbreaker on the sire’s side and Grannus on the dam’s side. His sire Heartbreaker is one of the most requested stallions in Europe at this moment. He is one of the top stallions of Europe because of his own performance at Grand Prix level and the performances of his offspring at Grand Prix Level. Furthermore Padinus has the bloodlines of the world famous stallions Grannus, Tangelo and Courville in his damline. Padinus’ dam, Ladina, is a very successful showjumping mare with Wil Schellekens. In 2002 they were 2nd in the Grand Prix of Luxemburg. Padinus has the perfect conformation and is a “showman”. Over the fences he shows a fantastic technique and a lot of scope. Ridden by Eddie Brinkman, Padinus shows that Mr. Poppelaars had tremendous foresight by combining excellent genetic bloodlines. Padinus jumped fantastically at national level ridden by Eddie Brinkman. Amongst their other successes they were third in the Gelders Championships. Meanwhile Padinus is competing very successfully at 1.30 m. level with Peter Geerink, their many wins and high placings include Indoor Brabant, Varsseveld etc. With his charming personality and the perfect jumping technique, the eye-catcher Padinus, is a tremendous acquisition for the breeders of showjumpers. Padinus meets the veterinary requirements of the KWPN and is approved by the AES. The KWPN jury gave the following description of the foals, which they assessed in 2003. Quote: “Padinus showed a very uniform collection of high legged, riding type foals that were royally developed, radiate blood and have a sufficiently, rectangular model. The foals show good balance, power and space in both trot and canter. In their movements the foals show a good self-carriage.” Caretano Z belonged to one of the most promising showjumping horses of his generation with a definite career in the big sport. As 7-years old Caretano Z won the prestigeous WC for young horses in Lanaken under Jos Lansink. After that, the combination made a splendid debut in the international showjumping sport during the World Cup finals in Gothenburg. And that is when fate struck in the form of a nasty loin rupture that proved fatal to Caretano Z in 2001, just when he stood at the beginning of a very promising international career. Caretano Z descends from showjumping horse producer Caretino (Caletto II) from the famous Holsteiner lineage 104a. From his first group in Holstein Caretano Z already produced the international showjumping horse Cartano (Rudi Helsen). From his first two seasons at Studfarm Zangersheide, a number of products have already been successfully performing in the Youngster tour for 6- and 7-years-olds, such as Candlelight (Wil Schellekens), Carlaya Z (Judy-Ann Melchior), Cartoon Z (Stefan Corten), Cartree Z (A. Schill), Chicago I Z (J.-A. Melchior) and Cracky Z (Stefan Corten). Venu´s Petite Z descends from the Vize-Champion of the french stallion approval - Venu du Theil. Who is very near related with Starter, Rantzau xx and Furioso xx to the famous sires Baloubet du Rouet and Cor de la Bryere. Venu du Theil was successful in jumping in Mecklenburg and an important sire. Excellent offspring like Veritas and Voila Z (Danmark) - both are breed at Zuchthof Hampe!! - also the Mecklenburg Champion Vagabund. With the hanoverian sire Pandur we get the strong bloodline of the french thouroughbred Präfectus xx in combination with the great Adlerfarn II by Adlerschild xx. The later motherline has the creme de la creme of horsebreeding: Furioso II by Furioso xx and Lugano II by Der Löwe xx. Petite Chance was bought from the international successful (with Petite Chance) military-rider Wolf Quensel in 1994 for Uwe´s son Hermes, who was as junior a good military-rider. Without problems Hermes and Petite Chance were selected for German Junior-Championship. Before that as young horse Petite Chance was very successful in dressage with Christiane Quensell. As Petite Chance must stop her career in higher-level-sport because of an injure, she was used as school master and broodmare. So she breed the very good mare Venu´s Petite Z, the very good jumper Antigone Z (E. Lagadec/France) and Catus Z (E. Schless/H. Störtenbecker) in the age of 20 years Petite Chance breed the high quality colt Boreas Z by Balougran Z (A. Pock/AUT). Venu´s Petite Z produced at Zuchthof Hampe in 5 breeding years 5 foals like the excellent jumper and offspring Artemis Z in Poland, the fullsisters Caesarea Z in USA and broodmare Cassandra Z, Balios Z in Sweden and Berenike Z in Danmark.

Perseus was placed at his first start in 1,10 m in February 2011 in Redefin as second!!!. In Neu Benthen at the Mecklenburg Championships Perseus was successful and finished the competitions as Vize-Champion!
